JACOB MARQUIS

Family & Friends,

Welcome to my fundraising page!

I have chosen to participate in the 2020 Travis Manion Foundation 9/11 Heroes Run. Please support me in my endeavor by making a donation! Your donation will help the Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) - a military support organization that empowers our nation's veterans and families of the fallen to develop character in future generations. Named after 1stLt. Travis Manion, USMC, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the Al Anbar province of Iraq on April 29th, 2007, the Foundation is committed to honoring our nation's fallen heroes.

This year I've registered for the RUCK division, which means I'll be carrying at least 20 pounds on my back for the entire 3.1 miles. Of course, I'll still be carrying the US flag... the same one I carried throughout the Marine Corps Marathon and for about 700 miles while running one step in honor of every American combat death. I'm running now to honor first responders and service members who keep our communities, our country, and our world safe. Let's never forget the sacrifices that have been made or how united we were as a nation on 9/12.

Even a small donation will help me achieve my goal! The process is fast, easy, and secure. If you can't make a donation at this point, help me reach my goal by sharing this page on Facebook and Twitter! Or, even better, send an e-mail to friends you think might be interested in contributing and include a link to my page!

Thanks so much for your generosity and please consider participating yourself at a race location near you (or as a virtual participant) by registering to RUN. WALK. RUCK. VOLUNTEER. DONATE. CHEER...but most of all: HONOR
